Austin Chau, CFP®

Austin joined Menlo Asset Management in 2020 after beginning his career at one of the largest New York based investment firms. He strives to share his passion for investing and financial planning in order to make a positive impact on the community. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Austin attended Saint Mary’s College, where he studied business administration with a concentration in finance. While at Saint Mary’s, Austin was Vice-President of the Finance Club, as well as President and Team Captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team, earning All-American status for his efforts. He still is an active member of the community, most recently coaching for Lamorinda Lacrosse, a non-profit that provides boys and girls the opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse, and being a leader in the Lamorinda Kiva Club, an organization that focuses on crowdsourcing microloans for underserved people in third world countries. In his free time, Austin enjoys travelling, eating good food, listening to and creating music, spending quality time with friends and family, and taking care of his English Bulldog, Bosco.
